There has been no cuts and no simplifications made in this arrangement, and we have added English translations of the most important bits of the poem which inspired Vivaldi to write the concerto. Some may be a bit surprising, as not everyone knows that the 1st movement depicts a village feast, the 2nd is the villagers sleeping after the feast, and the 3rd is an illustration of a hunt.
