As the title suggests, "Viva Trombones" features the trombone section and gives the entire band an opportunity to explore Latin music. A unison motif is played by all sections, followed by a short melody written in the style of a Cha Cha. Halfway through the piece, the trombones are featured on a section that allows them to stand up and use the unique aspect of their instrument to gliss from note to note. A wonderful piece to spice up your Beginning Band concert!
