Das Werk verbindet modellartig das Prinzip der Gruppenimprovisation mit den Mitteln des Orff-Instrumentariums. Es werden hier also im Rahmen einer fortgeschrittenen Musikpadagogik neue Wege der Musikbetatigung beschritten, die von grosser Wichtigkeit fur die neue Orientierung der Musikpraxis mit der Jugend sind. Vibration bringt zunachst eine didaktische Einfuhrung zur genauen Anwendung des darauffolgenden Notenteils: der Komposition Vibration. Hierfur ist gleichzeitig eine Spielpartitur bereitgestellt fur eine Normalbesetzung aus je 2 verschiedenen Stabspielen (insgesamt 8), dazu einige Rhythmus- bzw. Schlaginstrumente fur 1-3 Spieler.
