I have a new work for brass quintet based on the Bach cantata “Jesu der du meine Seele,” which celebrates its 300th anniversary this year. Bach wrote this cantata for the 14th Sunday after Trinity, which falls on September 1, 2024. The first performance of the work was on September 10, 1724. These Variations are perfect for preludes and postludes in church services, and for other performances of all kinds.
