Oboe Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download
SKU: A0.785852
Composed by Grant Horsley. This edition: audio, pdf, streaming. Contemporary, Contest, Festival, Romantic Period, Wedding. Score. 23 pages. Grant Horsley #6732729. Published by Grant Horsley (A0.785852).
A Piano Accompaniment track is available.
Valse Sentimentale is in ternary form, in 3/4 time and romantic in nature
The first section is a gentle waltz in G minor and the second section by contrast is in E flat major and takes on a barcarolle like quality but remaining in 3/4 not the traditional 6/8. It returns to section one again and the coda brings back a short reminder of the barcarolle theme in G major to finish.
The range of the Oboes are around two octaves with the top note- top E flat appearing once.
Each part is equally divided to avoid the 1st Oboe and 2nd definition. I have set it to intermediate level. It would work well for a variety of occasions.
It is around 5 mins 50 in length.
Price is for the full score and parts.
Flute duet, Alto Sax duet, Violin duet, Clarinet duet and Solo Piano versions are also available
