By Andy Kirk & His 12 Clouds Of Joy. By Alberta Nichols, L.E. Freeman, Mann Holiner, and Saul Chaplin. Arranged by Paul Hemmer. Contemporary. 34 pages. PJMS MUSIC #5751447. Published by PJMS MUSIC (A0.798317).

Until The Real Thing Comes Along is a smooth ballad which was used as the theme song for Andy Kirk & His Nine Clouds of Joy - one of the most popular bands from Harlem's Savoy Ballroom. Arranger Van Alexander recorded this version on a classic Capitol LP "The Home of Happy Feet" in tribute to the ballroom. This is an accurate transcription of that arrangement. It features Tenor Sax lead, muted trumpet solo, trombone solo and is an excellent dance arrangement. .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
