These two short anthems for Palm/Passion Sunday can be sung in a variety of 2 part combinations with piano accompaniment. They were originally conceived as part of a contemporary liturgy as a Sanctus/Benedictus and Agnus Dei, but are here adapted for ensemble performance. The Hosanna can be sung with a solo, as originally conceived, in a call and response form, or as a balanced 2 part ensemble. It is best as a Call to Worship or incorporated into the processional Gospel. The Lamb of God juxtaposes the folk melody "Wondrous Love". Neither piece is vocally difficult and should be easily accessible to even the modest of ensembles.
