Ironically, the very forces that stifled innovation during this period led to Vorotnikov's success composing gorgeous but unimaginative choral music. It evokes very strong images of dark wood, towering worship spaces, and stained glass. Arranged for brass quintet (two Bb trumpets, French horn, trombone, and tuba).
