Two beautiful Choruses by transcribed by Seattle Symphony Trumpeter, Geoffrey Bergler. The music is of intermediate level and have great sonorous qualities, wonderful for the middle of a Brass Ensemble concert. The first movement, Beati Mortui is slow and sustained and the second movement, Periti Autem is an Allegro movement more in a declamatory style. Instrumentation is for 3 Trumpets in Bb, 2 Horns, 3 Trombones and Tuba.
