These two movements are based on two well-known hymns whose melodies come from the United Kingdom. The calm prelude on "Kingsfold" is followed by the ebullient postlude on "Hyfrydol." (Recorded by Erik Simmons on the CD "Antiphonies", Divine Art Recordings #25218)
