Three early Baroque trios by Peter Philips, adapted for STB recorders. Presented in a 1615 music treatise as examples of compositions in three modes. All have null key signature (no sharps or flats) but they are not “in C”. Beautiful melodies in imitative counterpoint, with some 1600s harmony. Some lines are playable on other recorders.
