Moving between a medium up swing and a salsa son montuno feel, with irregular phrasing and interplay between the different sections, along with solos for trumpet and trombone (swing) and trades between alto saxophone 1 and tenor saxophone 1, there's plenty of interest for an intermediate to advanced big band. The trombone section will also need to double up as an improptu latin percussion section!
