Composed by Tielman Susato. Arranged by Tohru Minakuchi. Classics. Young Band Series. Score & parts. Bravo Music #COMS-85061S. Published by Bravo Music (BZ.COMS-85061S).

Tielman Susato was a Renaissance period composer and performer. I arranged three of his publications, "La mourisque," "Mille ducas en vostre bource," and "La bataille" to be suitable for young band. The percussion have repeated quarter and eighth notes. In Susato's time, drums and tambourine were essential colors. Even where the score and parts indicate only one percussionist, others may try and add additional sounds. Please let the various rhythms inspire creative performance.
