This work was written for the Sotogahama Municipal Minmaya Junior High School Wind Band and its Director, Masami Hatakeyama. Originally done for Flute, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trumpet, Horn, Euphonium, each part was revised so that it could be played by several types of instruments. Areas that may have difficulties in range and facility with alternate instruments are annotated on each part. The actual combination of musical instruments may be an ensemble of the same, or different families. You may also use an instrument not described in the score, making slight changes such as octave transpositions. Some advice on selecting instruments: ï½¥ Consider the balance of the sound volume of the instrument ï½¥ If you raise or lower octaves, make sure that you do not go below the movement of the bass line (the lowest note played at that time). ï½¥ Since the 3rd and 4th parts often move together, instruments of the same type or family are easier to organize.
