This award winning arrangement (1st Place in the 1994 Perth Jazz Orchestra Composition Awards) opens with a rubato, chorale style setting of the first 16 measures of the theme. The chart then takes off at a bright swing tempo that is maintained for the rest of the arrangement. There is plenty of work for all sections throughout the chart with a whole chorus of saxophone soli and a couple of ensemble 'shout' choruses. Solo space is provided to feature the 1st Trombone, Flugelhorn (5th chair) and Piano players. Lead trumpet requires a couple of F6s and rhythm parts are not fully notated throughout.
