By Pete Seeger. By Nursery rhyme. Arranged by Sandy McIntire. Children,Comedy,Folk,Instructional,Traditional. Score. 4 pages. Sandy McIntire #734778. Published by Sandy McIntire (A0.1134748).

THERE'S A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEA is an 18th Century nursery rhyme with comical lyrics. It is arranged here as a learning tool for EASY BEGINNING PIANO students. Its purpose is to introduce the students to the concept of different keys by providing the eight measure tune in the keys of C, G, D, F, and B FLAT Major. It shows that the tune is the same, but the key changes depending on what the first note is. Learning the tune in different keys can serve as an introduction to sharp and flat signs as well.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
