Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Yvonne Johnson. Traditional. 14 pages. Yvonne Johnson #846405. Published by Yvonne Johnson (A0.1252434).

This well known and lively tune (also known as The College Hornpipe and Jack's the Lad) is a traditional hornpipe melody often associated with the navy and the theme for the Popeye cartoon series.

This shorter version for Orff Ensemble has been arranged for 7 parts. Sop Glock and Alto Met carry the melody throughout with harmony and rhythm provided by the Sop Xylo, Alto Xylo and Tambourine. Arranged in the F Major, performers will need their Bb bars. Dynamic and tempo markings are suggested ones only.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
