The Pianist's Wind Chimes is a great original composition for piano students after their first year. It's in 5/8 time, which is not too common for students of this caliber to encounter. Except for a few measures in the middle of the piece, the meter never changes. This piece is also three pages long. That makes it somewhat longer than a typical beginner composition. Since it's a full three pages, The Pianist's Wind Chimes is great to perform at a student recital. You can listen to the YouTube video to find out how long it is. The video is a little over two minutes and thirty seconds long. I only decided on the name The Pianist's Wind Chimes because I thought it would be a cool name (ha ha!). .
