This book is good for beginners. It should have a CD accompaniment or a piano part or chords, then it would be perfect.

Bought this as high school graduation gift for my nephew who plays 1st chair violin for a symphony orchestra. He's going to college for music therapy. This was an instant hit.

Absolutely brilliant! My grandaughter was overjoyed to get it as there are so many more tunes in it than we can get in the UK in one book. And it was cosiderably less costly than buying them individually.

My students love this music. I use it as an incentive to get them to practice more. Why is there no piano accompanient? Some of the songs have measures of rest that indicate another instrument is involved.

I found the book to be vary helpful easy, but yet giving a little challenge I have been playing violin for two years and I found it to be most interesting. although I would have liked the bowing to have been written in.
