What a fantastic way to enjoy Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" on the flute! As an adult learner, I find the Beginning Intermediate difficulty just right—challenging enough to feel accomplished but achievable for weekend practice. The songs are instantly recognizable, letting me sound like the original. It's truly relaxing and so rewarding to play these beautiful Broadway tunes.

The book gives me chances to appreciate the songs from another angle. Some songs are easy, while some are a bit challenging that I need to practice for several times with my flute teacher. Things will be perfect if piano accompaniment is available.

as a high school junior planning to go into performance, I find this exhaustingly easy. However, for beginners who love PTO, i would definitely recommend this. Simple rhythms, good range, easy to read.

My daughter is in 7th grade and was bored with the assigned band music. She loves the music from the Phantom and this was a great way for her to stay excited about her flute. She is challenged by the music but its still easy enough for her to learn to play it on her own.

A farily easy book, with a couple of harder pieces. I've loved this play since I was a kid and all but two of the songs are complete. Sounds great.

This is an excellent book for a beginner, but is also a good spring board for a more advanced player. It is very easy to write in little flourishes to give the songs a bit more flare for solo performance, but if you do intend to perform it, then there are several sections where you will need to write the parts in because rests are written. That ordinarily would be fine, except the fact that in the actual songs, these measures of rest do not exist in the melody. Also as a bit of a minor side note, I was a little disappointed to see that they left out the cadenzas at the ends of the title theme and Think of Me, but then again, they are not too terribly difficult to figure out. Not to say that this is a bad book, but in my opinion it is slightly incomplete and could be improved.
