An arrangement of the famous March from the Nutcracker. I like how it worked out to give all the various parts interesting parts of the melody. In this version, the 2nd and 3rd parts are designed to be easier than the 1st parts, though the 1st parts are still capped at high D for oboe and high G (mostly) for bassoon). The low registers are used infrequently and with nothing too technical, grace notes are omitted, and various aspects of the difficulty with fast tonguing are worked around (lessened, omitted, or slurred). All oboe and bassoon parts are divisi.
