Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea follows the expedition of
Captain Nemo and the men on the Nautilus. A mythical submersible that takes
passengers deep under the seas and uncovers the secrets and threats of the
ocean. Ever since I was a kid I dreamed about the Nautilus and how I would one day
ride with Captain Nemo. And explore the coral kingdom. For me, the Nautilus is more
than just a submarine it's a symbol of ingenuity and exploration. It represents our
desire to push the boundaries of what is possible, to venture to the unknown, to start
something new, and to achieve greater things bigger than ourselves. And so I did my
best to depict my favourite childhood wonder the Nautilus and its mythical journey.
