SATB choir, congregation, organ, optional trumpet - Beginning to Intermediate

SKU: MN.60-9020

Composed by Craig Courtney. 21st Century. Octavo. MorningStar Music Publishers #60-9020. Published by MorningStar Music Publishers (MN.60-9020).

UPC: 688670690204.

The anthem is a wedding of the hymn, All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name, and a new setting of Caroline Noel's text and sets an austere, military mood through the use of repeated notes in the organ and proclamatory motifs in the trumpet obbligato. After an instrumental transition to the hymn tune CORONATION, the congregation joins the choir in singing five verses of the hymn, culminating in a majestic free harmonization in the final verse. Includes trumpet part.
