Recently edited and re-engraved from the E. C. Schirmer archives, this is one of eight motets (Op. 138) which Reger wrote in 1914, "in new simplicity." The choral writing (mostly homophonic with the typical Reger harmonic touches throughout) makes this a tender and lovely piece well worthy of a comeback in your repertoire. Duration: ca. 1:30.
