3-6 octave handbell - Grade 2

SKU: BP.HB634

Composed by Jason W. Krug. Arranged by Jason W. Krug. Handbell choir music. Score. Beckenhorst Press #HB634. Published by Beckenhorst Press (BP.HB634).

8.5 x 11 inches.

Arranged for 3 -6 octave handbell choir and optional 3 - 4 octaves of handchimes. Level 2+. This arrangement of two different hymntunes associated with the same text moves through various moods and textures, giving each part of the ensemble the chance to shine. From an opening on suspended bells and handchimes, the tune DOMINUS REGIT ME is set over a simple eighth note accompaniment with occasional unexpected harmonies before the ST. COLUMBA tune is introduced with a countermelody in the bass. A final triumphant verse with bold, sometimes chromatic harmonies, rounds out the piece before returning to the gentle feeling of the opening. A perfect choice for worship throughout the church year.
