III. Spring’s Running Brooks: This movement is an homage to Johann Sebastian Bach with its opening scalar pattern
This movement, an homage to Johann Sebastian Bach, with its opening scalar pattern and the lilt of the rising and falling lines, rhythmic interaction of different patterns and tempo and pitch all reflect a babbling brook.
IV. Summer’s Ocean Waves: Self explanatory the constantly moving water and waves of the powerful ocean.
A brilliant new work suitable for advanced performers about 7 minutes in length.
