This arrangement of the traditional English Christmas carol "The First Noel" begins with the familiar melody set to jazz harmonies in a chorale style before moving into a medium-tempo jazz waltz. Students will have the opportunity to study standard jazz articulations and rhythms as well as idiomatic chord voicings.
