The Emily Brontë Song Cycle is a musical setting of 8 of Emily's poems.
It was written in August 2022 for its first performance in Ilkley in June 2023, and it was written for Charlie Perry, the singers of Cantores Olicanae, and Robert Sudall's Jazz Trio Motion Complex.
The cycle has 8 movements, and lasts some 20 minutes in all. A recording of the first performance is available from the composer at geoffrey.cloke@gmail.com but the performance is available on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-0BLHHakp8&t=67s
