The Eagle's Afro-Caribbean Dance For Beginner Concert Band by Composer William Pagán-Pérez was dedicated to his band students at Melaleuca Elementary School (West Palm Beach, Florida). This is a single-movement piece, with an ABA form. Basically, it is a Duet (a melody and its accompaniment). The music style of this piece is the Sicá Variation of the Puerto Rican Bomba Genre.

Notice: Mr. Pagán-Pérez taught the Cuá, and Djembe (Tubano Drum) rhythmic ostinato by ear to his students. Students don't need to read the ostinato rhythmic pattern.
