The piece is the final movement in a collection of pieces by Obando inspired by the movie "Victor Frankenstein". In this piece, Obando utilizes a 6/8 time signature to create rigid march feel in order to symbolize the zombie and robotic movement of the undead creature in all his horrifying apperance. The piece has a whirlwind of rhythm changes an string techniques that would be right in the range of the developing high school orchestra student. It will keep your players (and maybe even the conductor) on their toes about what comes next.
