"The Child Is A Song" is a composition for Handbells, Handchimes, and Pipe Organ.  It was commissioned by the Gateway Ringers of St. Louis, MO and received its premiere performance in 2015 during the Conference of the North Central Region of the American Guild of Organists.  This work features whistling by the handbell/handchime performers at the beginning and ending of the composition.  The whistling is improvised over selected pitches and is intended to conjure up the image of a small child whistling while playing.  Handbell and Handchime parts are included with the full score.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
