Dulcimer,Instrumental Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download
By The Eagles. Arranged by Elaine & Larry Conger. Pop,Rock. Individual part. 5 pages. Larry Conger/Dulcimerican Music #3079337. Published by Larry Conger/Dulcimerican Music (A0.509662).
One of the early Eagles hits by Glenn Fry and Don Henley, this arrangement is intended for the upper intermediate level mountain dulcimer player. It is arranged in 1-5-8 or DAD tuning and makes use of a 1+ fret.
Elaine and Larry Conger have tabbed the song in a chord-melody style, making use of an 8th note arpeggiated rhythm, much like that of a classical guitar. This makes the arrangement somewhat different from the traditional strum & drone style most often associated with the mountain dulcimer.
The intermediate level player will find this arrangement somewhat challenging but not impossible to accomplish, provided the player has a good knowledge of three finger chords, syncopated and broken rhythms. The song's familiarity should make it easier to learn.
Includes tablature, standard musical notation, lyrics and guitar accompaniment chords.
