Composed by Marc-Antoine Charpentier. Arranged by Tohru Minakuchi. Brass. Ensemble. Score & parts. Duration 5:00. Bravo Music #ENMS-84211. Published by Bravo Music (BZ.ENMS-84211).

Te Deum is an ancient Catholic (Latin) hymn. Masters such as Berlioz and Bruckner have also worked with Te Deum.
Charpentier left much opera and church music, but this title is a leading representative of his work. This brass octet presents "Prelude (Rondeau)", "Te Deum laudamus", "Te aeternum Patrem" and "Pleni sunt caeli et terra", often performed independently under the name of "Triumphal March"
To create a grand atmosphere for worship, the timpani of the original version is included as an optional part, though not mandatory.
The dotted slur represents each syllable of the lyrics.
(Tohru Minakuchi)

* Optional Bb Piccolo Trumpet and Bb Trumpet parts are included.
