This delightful and underappreciated piece was written in 1779 for strings, 2 oboes, and 2 horns. This adaptation for flute choir is challenging but works quite well!
Flutes 1, 2, and 4 include short divisi sections, but the piece can be done effectively even with one player per part. Flute 4s play the same part as Flute 3s for movement 2. There is only one alto part for movement 2 - all altos play.
