With the 'Bloody Thumb Cookbook', SWIM TWO BIRDS concentrate on their true strengths: The album was recorded "live" and contains a large portion of poetry by the English poet and reciter Jack Marlow. In addition, the SWIM TWO BIRDS around saxophonist Achim Gätjen have an outstanding rhythm section, and the brass section is second to none (not only in this country).
