For example, each part is written on only two sheets, so no page turns (17 pages total, including score, duration 4:15). Phrasings are indicated. Certain notes were lengthened, (e.g., triplet eighth note arpeggios) and the dynamic range was expanded to better emulate the orchestral sound. Also, some coloratura-like passages were dropped an octave for both ease of performance and because a lone violin simply cannot replicate the sound of a dozen.
