Composed by Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Nathan Austin. Classical,Musical/Show,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 18 pages. Nathan Austin #2070911. Published by Nathan Austin (A0.939127).

This is an arrangement of the iconic opening piece to the second act of Tchaikovsky's ballet, Swan Lake. This arrangement is has a flute playing the original oboe solo at the start, but the music is such that an oboe would still be able to read from it. The bassoon part has been transposed into bass clef with ledger lines for the amateur player that cannot read the original piece in tenor clef. The trombone has also been changed as such. It is missing the viola part as the original orchestra that it was arranged for did not have any. The violins and cellos take up between them what the viola would have had. The instruments that it has been arranged for are possibly the most commonly played instruments in a school orchestra/ensemble and that is the purpose of this arrangement.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
