The source of this suite is Wedding Music composed by Johan Helmich Roman (1694 - 1758) for the marriage festivities of Crown Prince Fredrik and Princess Ulrika at Drottninghom Castle, Sweden, in 1744. The original orchestral suite comprises of 24 movements, and six of those have been arranged to form a Suite for Organ.
