Violin 1 has the melody, and violin 2 harmonizes with double stops and adds rhythm at various points throughout the arrangement. There is a lovely moment between violin 1 and cello towards the end, similar to what is heard in the original recording. Although this piece is harmonically sound as a string trio, the piano adds depth and rhythm. This works perfectly for cocktail hour events and weddings!
