A fun-filled piece (for flute head joint, oboe reed and Bb Clarinet) about a conversation between a Cat and a Squirrel.
The music is challenging but the piece is very short and great fun to do. A real chance for the musicians to share with the
audience how different sounds can be created on various instruments; perhaps these sounds are not quite what
we would normally expect. A brilliant foray unto the world of new uses for traditional instruments. The flute
headjoint is especially used in new ways to create various sounds. A definite show stopper for very top players.
