"Speechless" is the new key song in the 2019 live-action remake of Aladdin. Written by Composer Alan Menken with lyrics by Benj Pasek
and Justin Paul it gives new depth to the character of Jasmine. The song became famous sung by Naomi Scott and got translated into several languages.
It is a solo sung by Jasmine, expressing how tired she is about being locked away in the palace and/or being silenced by Jafar or the Sultan and is finally ready to take a stand.
This arrangement for full symphony orchestra and solo vocalist lets the singer shine in front of an epic accompaniment. It also features a prominent harp part (which can be doubled by piano if needed). It workes fabulous as a concert highlight for youth orchestras as well as intermediate to professional ensembles!
This is the score only, purchase the parts here:.
