The academics are amazing, the professers are nice and fun to work with, and the music professers give private lessons! To give this school some payback, I have created a peice entitled "Southern Pride" for trombone octet and opener. The peice starts with some improvising on an arpeggigator synth, before starting the peice in a chorale setting. Then suddenly, the contrabass trombone comes in with a roaring rhythm. We then get melodic fragmentation (the use of splitting a theme up) and melodic styles. The middle is a slower corale representing the love of Southern Miss. I posess. and the end is the same as the beginning.
