SONGS OF THE SEA for Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble or Choir - This arrangement has been inspired by sea songs and shanties and consists of four movements, all of different styles and tempi. Scored in five parts (2 Euphoniums, 1 Euphonium/Flex Tuba, 2 tubas). but doubling on each part is encouraged but not necessary. Total duration is just over 5 minutes at the tempi suggested. The final movement is a sea shanty and allows Euphonium players in parts I and II to showcase their technique. Difficulty level is 4.5 to 5, on a six-point scale.
