Composed by Thomas R. Schadl. Concert,Contemporary,Instructional,Standards. Score. 14 pages. Thomas R. Schadl #4992633. Published by Thomas R. Schadl (A0.912500).The scherzo movement consists of two themes that contrast each other in musical character: one is written a somber style; the other has a folk-like melody that has no somber quality. The former theme is based on the melody that was introduced in the development section of the first movement of Sonata In C For Organ; the melody is written in the stepwise manner. As the piece is performed, one shall hear the fragmented version of the TRSCH (Thomas R. Schadl) motive. Scherzo is suitable for recital use.
