Great solo!
As a sophomore looking to take trumpet playing to a professional level, this solo was almost eerily at my performance level. It most definitely brought out my weaknesses as it requires much mental concentration with the multiple tonguing and complex time meters. I performed the first movement only which is a very tiring movement. The range of movement I is written up to a high C at the very end. I received a superior at district and state solo and ensemble.

Awesome
This solo is one of the greatest of the solos written for trumpet. If you are considering doing this plan on at least a year to prepare. This solo will really challenge players of any level. I would recommend this for college level players.
