Programme note:

'Something She Has to Do' is part of the soundtrack composed by US composer Philip Glass for the 2002 film 'The Hours'. The film's score won the BAFTA Award for Best Film Music and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score, and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score. The film’s plot focuses on three women of different generations whose lives are interconnected by the 1925 novel 'Mrs Dalloway' by Virginia Woolf. 'Something She Has to Do' was also included on the soundtrack for the 2009 movie 'Watchmen'.
