In the key of D Major, but introducing low second fingers on C natural for violins and second finger for cellos on C natural. I wrote this piece as I have found in my work that much of the repertoire for this age group omits the use of these fingers, in favour of saying in easy-to-play keys. Plenty of repetition in patterns of notes, variations in rhythm to keep it interesting - a great technical work-out and fun to play.
