Show a Little Kindness is one of five songs, from the children’s musical Can’t Bully Me Now.
Lisa was inspired to write this musical for her nephew, who was violently bullied, and for the cruel teasing she endured, as a child – bullying that was never forgotten.
What makes Can’t Bully Me Now Musical stand out – are the moments when the actors (grades 3 through 8) speak directly to the audience - for several teachable moments. This hands-on musical shows kids what it’s like to feel bullied and teaches them how to stop it! The story highlights the transition of Billy Wilson from a bullied and scared fifth grader, to a brave bystander.
At about an hour-long, it’s perfect for school assemblies and concerts, youth camps, and many other youth organizations. Kids and adults alike will be singing the songs long after the performance is over.
