3-Part for changing voices. Piano accompaniment, Key of F.
Boys just want to sing! This arrangement of Shenandoah accommodates unchanged voices, changing voices, and newly changed voices. The piece includes unison singing, voice doubling in different octaves, and some 2 and 3-part harmony with note preparation and support in the accompaniment. The arrangement is easy to learn and easy for singers to make adjustments if needed as they mature. Legato singing is usually a challenge for boys and this piece teaches skills in connecting pitches. So many times boys feel unsuccessful in choral ensembles because of the challenges of their changing voice. This arrangement will overcome those feelings and give these young singers a rewarding experience- not to mention confidence.
This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
