(Sam Rodwell and Emma Smith), who gave the first performance (with the composer present)
on the 12th February 2023 at the Springbank Arts Centre, New Mills.
Shedfield Partita draws inspiration from my home setting in the village of Shedfield, a parish of Winchester, South UK.
1. Festival: recalls distant sounds of the annual outdoor Wickham Music Festival, mixed with local peeling church bells.
2. Heath Haven: My home in Shedfield.
3. Waltham Chase: A scenic area of country lanes that provides a source of positive artistic motivation.

Écrite fin 2022, «Shedfield Partita» est dédiée au Roth Guitar Duo
(Sam Rodwell et Emma Smith), qui a donné la première représentation (en présence du compositeur) le 12 février 2023 au Springbank Arts Centre, à New Mills.
Shedfield Partita s’inspire de mon environnement familial dans le village de Shedfield, une paroisse de Winchester, dans le sud du Royaume-Uni.
1. Festival : rappelle les sons lointains du festival annuel de musique en plein air de Wickham, mélangés aux cloches des églises locales qui sonnent.
2. Heath Haven : ma maison à Shedfield.
3. Waltham Chase : une région pittoresque de chemins de campagne qui constitue une source de motivation artistique positive.
